Collaborative Meditations offers a means for self-care and provides students, practitioners and instructors in Healing Beyond Borders’ HTI Healing Touch Certificate Program support for personal growth. Healing Touch Students at all course levels, Practitioners, and Instructors can benefit from having a selection of focused meditations purposefully developed for the classroom and Healing Touch practice.

About the Authors

Mari Kelley, RN, CHTP/I, RPCV, PCRV has 49 years of Clinical and Administrative Nursing in hospital settings, as well as a “Community Health Outreach Volunteer and Maternal and Child Health Specialist” with the US Peace Corps in the African countries of Uganda and Zambia. She is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor with Healing Beyond Borders and practicing in Florida. She teaches nationally and internationally and has presented at numerous national and local conferences on Healing Touch and has published articles in professional journals. She has served on the education committee, instructor training application and professional development committees of Healing Beyond Borders. She is a Charter member of Healing Touch International, a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association and the International Association of Near Death Studies. She is the CEO of Healing Awareness International, LLC. She is a Certified Instructor with the School of Inner Sound and Energy Codes. She continues to combine conventional and complementary therapies as an Integrative Healing Process. She loves teaching and traveling.

Diane Wind Wardell, PhD, RN, AHN-BC, CHTP/I is a holistic nurse and a retired Professor Emerita from the Cizik School of Nursing, The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston Texas. She is a past-president and a past-chair of certification for Healing Touch International, Inc (now Healing Beyond Borders). She studied extensively with Janet Mentgen the founder of Healing Touch International. She is the author/co-author of White Shadow: Walking with Janet Mentgen and Healing Touch: Enhancing Life Through Energy Therapy. Additionally, she has conducted and published in professional journals numerous studies on Healing Touch. She loves nature and teaching others.
