Carol is a charter member of Healing Beyond Borders, a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner (1998), and a Certified Healing Touch Instructor (2015). The skills she brings to the Board of Directors include leadership, relationship building, listening, team building, and problem solving through a holistic lens. Previously, she served as president of the local Chapter of American Association of Critical Care Nursing, where she planned conferences, built the membership, and listened to members. Her professional committee experiences include quality, education, and national credential test development. As an active member of the HBB Professional Development Committee, she collaborated to develop, pilot, and participate in the virtual Course 1. In addition to her Healing Touch practice, she volunteers at an elder residence and is exploring outreach to the LGTBQIA+ community. Carol states, “I greatly enjoy mentoring future practitioners/instructors” and “my personal goal is to participate in the continual growth of Healing Beyond Borders by building on our past and moving forward into the future!”
