Instructor since 2000, now teaching Levels 1 - 5 in Hawaii and Japan.  I bring a passion and heart energy to each class and student as we engage in this work together.  My background includes over 40 years of nursing, in clinical and management roles in the hosital, community and hospice settings.  Most recently, I am the Advanced Care Planning Coordinator for a 550 bed medical center, Queens Health Care in Honolulu.  Hosting converstions with patients and their families about end of life wishes taps the skills I have gained as CHTP - healing presence and engaging the 4 attributes of the heart.
