I discovered Healing Touch in 2007 through a class at the University of Michigan and managed a Healing Touch clinic in Ann Arbor for 2 years, then became certified in 2013.
I've been an RN for 28 years and work at Mott Children's Hopsital with the Congenital Heart Children as the Pre-Surgery Nurse Coordinator. I just recently joined the Back and Pain Center at Burlington Buidling as part of the Michigan Medicine Non-Pharmacological Pain Management Program as their Certified Healing Touch Practitioner.
I'm also a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and incorporate what I've learned about energy and the body into my practice and use breathwork, meditation and yoga as part of my offerings to my patients as stand alone sessions or as part of their own self-care plan.
Healing Touch started me on a life long journey of healing and self-awareness that has been rewarding for myself and sets an example for my 3 children to help others and to help themselves. I have experienced many non-pharmacological stratagies for my own personal health and healing and can offer this knowledge to my patients who are seeking alternative methods for pain and anxiety management as well as overall health and wellness benefits.
I'm forever grateful for discovering Healing Touch and the impact it has had on everyone it touches.

I have been in private practice as an intuitive energy healer for 20 years. My foundation in energy work was with Healing Touch International, and after extensive study and mentorship I became a Certified Healing Touch® Practitioner.
I went on to study at Delphi University School of Spiritual Studies in Georgia and completed my Doctor level training as a RoHun Therapist. I have also trained with indigenous healers such as Dr. Rangimarie Turuki Rose Pere, Maori Tohuna Tipua from New Zealand, and Swami Sally Perry, Spirit Medicine, Native American medicine women from Virginia. Through this study I have been introduced to the healing ways and wisdom of the Ancient Ones. I am also an ordained Minister.
My greatest joy is to co-create healing with my clients and to train and empower them to help themselves. Each healing session is tailored to their specific needs, as Spirit guides us to serve their best and highest good. “I help the people to help themselves to heal at all levels and to find their joy.”
I have combined my passion for art and healing with the creation of hand painted healing mandalas that capture the healing energy of the client’s Higher Self. I offer workshops on the creation of these mandalas to help my clients to rekindle and “Awaken the Creative Spirit” in themselves. Workshops are also offered in meditation therapy.

Renee Sutton, LPC uses mind, body, emotional, behavioral, and spiritual approaches as a way to comfort, develop character, or facilitate a change from distress, beliefs, or negative thoughts. This is done using an integrative approach blending counseling and compassionate touch through many forms of energy medicine or “laying on of hands”. Pastoral care is available across many faith traditions and spiritual disciplines as an option. Since empowerment is important in the healing journey, self-care and other homework is part of the session. She has been teaching adults over the past 26 years. Sutton is licensed as a Professional Counselor Intern (#5882), a Certified Nurse Assistant (#147404R) and an actively ordained Interfaith Minister with Universal Brotherhood Movement, Inc. Energy-based (vibrational or biofield) training has been accomplished since 2001. My life experience includes baccalaureate degrees in both nursing and communication/family studies, masters degrees in nursing and communication/family counseling and a doctorate in psychology. I was certified as a healing touch practitioner in 2003 and continue to do 'the work' on a volunteer basis. Most of my nursing experience was in hospice and hospice home care, but have done med/surg, medical oncology, surgery, and nursing home supervision. I lived in Asia for 3 years teaching for the US Military through the U of Maryland and studied cultural death practices, as well as alternative forms of healing. I was a research associate professor for 10 years at the U of Arizona College of Medicine with a focus on sleep disorders and sleep health promotion, primarily for underserved Latinos. For the past 11 years, I was nursing faculty at Arizona State University, directing the Center for World Health. I retired in July of 2015 and am a Professor Emerita of Nursing and Southwest Borderlands Nursing scholar. Earlier this year (2016), after spending several years working with the Pan American Health Organization and submitting application, I received word that our college was designated as a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre to Advance the Policy on Research for Health. I serve a Deputy Director. I continue to train diabetes health educators in Mexico regarding sleep disorders, chronic disease and sleep health promotion, and lecture on complementary, alternative and holistic approaches to healing with an emphasis on and demonstration of Healing Touch. I publish in professional sleep journals, and co-author the chapter on Evidence-Based Practice for Dossey and Keegan's 'Holistic Nursing: A Handbook for Practice.' In my spare time, I am a rabid junior genealogist (starting in 1976), tracing a line on my dad's side back to Charlemagne. Namaste!

As a RN for many years, I had the wonderful opportunity to care for patients with a wide variety of illnesses. My traditional medical clinical experience was extensive.
Since fulfilling my heart’s desire by becoming a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, I am delighted to be able to support, promote and provide Healing Touch sessions, not in order to replace traditional medical treatment, but to expand my clients’ opportunity for healing with the additional use of Healing Touch therapy.
My healing touch therapy style is soothing, gentle and caring. I offer sessions in my home in Highlands Ranch, CO which has a nurturing environment with a lovely view of the mountains and open space. I am available for appointments Monday to Saturday. I also accept certain appointments on location.
My BA and MA degrees are in Counseling Psychology. I completed my Healing Touch courses in San Diego, CA and Tampa, FL. My RN licenses are with Colorado and Florida.
As a LifeSpark Cancer Resources Volunteer, I provide Healing Touch sessions for participants that have been diagnosed with cancer. The sessions are held at LifeSpark Cancer Resources’ designated locations.
