Melissa has personally been a life long student of alternative healing modalities, studying the work of and attending lectures given by leaders in the field such as Louise Hay, Caroline Myss, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Andrew Weil and Jack Kornfield.  

​Looking to broaden her knowledge and be of service to others, Melissa furthered her education by completing the five rigorous levels of Healing Touch classes endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Association.  After completing these classes, as well as a two year apprenticeship, Melissa earned her Healing Touch certification in May 2018. 

Melissa is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner (CHTP) and a member of Healing Beyond Borders.

For 25 years, Chris has worked in a children's hospital in the pediatric intensive care unit as a certified child life specialist/coordinator helping children and teens cope with trauma, acute/chronic illness and hospitalization. She incorporated relaxation methods/healing touch with many teens and their families in the pediatric hematology/oncology unit as well, assisting them in coping with all aspects of hospitalization.  She is a certified healing touch practitioner, and created her own practice, A Touch of Healing...For Your Mind, Body & Soul, specializing in working with older children, teens and adults (out of her office or in the home).  Chris also studies Native American Healing and is an Everyday Shamanic Practitioner.  

Lisa is Executive Director and Holistic Nurse Consultant for Integrative Health Care for Healing Beyond Borders. She is a Registered Nurse with 45+ years experience, a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor and teaches Courses 1-5, Certified Holistic Nurse through AHNCC, Reiki Master/Teacher, and formerly held certification as a Clinical Transplant Coordinator. She has over 20 years experience as a nurse clinician specialist within the nation's largest teaching hospital with an expertise in women and children's health, transplantation, and biomedical ethics.  Anselme has presented extensively to both professional and lay audiences on the topics of integrative health care, energy therapies, holistic consciousness and ethics.  She teaches and presents throughout the US and internationally. She is co-author of the textbooks, Healing Touch: Enhancing Life Through Energy Therapies (2014) and  Foundations and Practice of Healing Touch (1st Ed. 2017 and 2nd Ed. 2024). Formerly practicing in Iowa City, Iowa, Lisa maintains a full private practice in holistic nursing and bioenergy therapies in Lakewood, Colorado.

Becoming a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner has greatly changed my perspective on and approach to bodywork and I’m so eager to share this deep relaxation technique. I believe it has such a subtle, yet powerful effect on the mind-body, on its own or when combined with massage therapy.

I am also a National Educator for several product lines, which gives me the opportunity to visit spas throughout the country to teach therapists how to perform specialized body treatments using organic, aroma-therapeutic ingredients. Jann has been Certified Healing Practitioner since October 2013 with a private practice since 2011. Most recently, in 2017, Jann became certified as a Healing Touch Instructor, which was a culmination of hours of training and coursework. For the past eight years Jann has worked with cancer patients at Denver Health.  She is also serving veterans from the Healing Warriors organization at the VFW Post #1.  Her life goal is to assist all who she meets to reach their fullest potential.

Patti is a registered nurse, life coach, certified healing touch practitioner, certified crystal healer, intuitive, sound healer, nurse educator and inspirational speaker.

She completed her undergraduate nursing education at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her quest for knowledge in alternative /integrative modalities led her to the University of Phoenix, Arizona where she received a Master’s degree in Nursing specializing in Integrative Health.

During her career as a professional nurse Patti implemented wellness programs for hospitals, inner city communities and fortune 500 companies with successful weight reduction programs and stress management classes.As the journey continued, Patti studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, NY and became a Health Coach for clients who struggle with stress and weight related issues. To further facilitate her client’s needs she studied at the Christina Pirello School of Natural Cooking and provides nutrition and macrobiotic classes for groups from a holistic perspective.

Continued integrative studies introduced Patti to Healing Touch, a centuries old historic energy therapy in which practitioners use their hands in a heart centered and intentional way to support, balance and facilitate physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.  Crystals have always been utilized in Patti’s healing regimen and she studied and received her Crystal Healing Certification with Hibiscus Moon Crystal Healing Academy based in Pompano, Florida.

As Patti’s knowledge and vibration increased she studied the history of aromatics, botany, energy theories, and essential oils and received her certification as a clinical aroma therapist through the Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy. Patti studied Sound Therapy with Jay Schwed a Master Sonic Alchemist and provides Vibro-acoustic therapy for her clients utilizing crystal bowls, crystal singing pyramids, Tibetan bowls, rattles, rain sticks, Native American drums and a beautiful Atlantis gong, to relieve stress and promote relaxation.

Patti continues her educational and spiritual journey by meditating, practicing yoga, journaling and attending professional conferences and workshops focused on health and healing. Professionally, Patti teaches nursing at Rowan College at Gloucester County College and promotes holistic nursing, Integrative Health, and evidence-based complementary modalities. She serves as a member of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, Healing Beyond Borders, Healing Touch Professional Association, the American Holistic Nurses Association, International Association for Health Coaches and is a former member of the Thomas Jefferson University Alumni Board. She is presently a doctoral candidate at Holos University Graduate Seminary focusing on self-care of nursing student. Patti welcomes the opportunity to provide presentations about the benefits of integrative therapies.
