Donna is a Charter Member of Healing Beyond Borders, has been a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner since 1997 and is a Certified Advanced Holistic Nurse. She served on the Healing Beyond Borders Ethics Committee from 2010 to 2018. Donna was an educator and administrator in a community college setting for 30 years, retiring in 2007 from her position as Associate Dean of Nursing and Allied Health. She continues to mentor nurses on their career paths. In previous roles, Donna has managed budgets; provided leadership, mentorship, and assessment for faculty, staff, and students; written grant proposals; organized conferences; and collaborated with colleagues, administrators, and accrediting organizations. In her Healing Touch practice, Donna works with family members and long-term clients in the community. She recently started offering voluntary Healing Touch sessions to support those who volunteer in her local community. Donna continues to enjoy new learning opportunities and staying current in holistic health and Healing Touch. Donna shares, “The services and connections of HBB have helped me survive and thrive through several difficult times, including the pandemic. I would like to give back in service to the organization.”
