Renee Sutton, LPC uses mind, body, emotional, behavioral, and spiritual approaches as a way to comfort, develop character, or facilitate a change from distress, beliefs, or negative thoughts. This is done using an integrative approach blending counseling and compassionate touch through many forms of energy medicine or “laying on of hands”. Pastoral care is available across many faith traditions and spiritual disciplines as an option. Since empowerment is important in the healing journey, self-care and other homework is part of the session. She has been teaching adults over the past 26 years. Sutton is licensed as a Professional Counselor Intern (#5882), a Certified Nurse Assistant (#147404R) and an actively ordained Interfaith Minister with Universal Brotherhood Movement, Inc. Energy-based (vibrational or biofield) training has been accomplished since 2001. Sutton is a certified (#2310) Healing Touch Practitioner and a certified TARA Approach Practitioner and Self-Care Instructor since 2004; Healing Practitioner (#138) in Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry; certified Yoga and Holistic Stress Management Instructor. Sutton holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University and an M.A. in Professional Counseling (including Christian Counseling) from Liberty University.
