I have been providing HT as an HT student since 2015, primarily at the Free First Saturday Clinic I established at the Manchester VAMC along with other alternative providers. As this clinic was unavailable to Veterans, community members and other stakeholders during the pandemic, I recently obtained my certification (CHTP) to continue doing the work both in person and through distance healing in my private practice. My experience is with adults, especially those impacted by PTSD, SUD and MST. In 2016, I was certified as an RxRelax yoga teacher, volunteering to bring the experience of seated yoga practice to persons with cancer at various NH clinics and Manchester VAMC nursing home residents.
I was fortunate to have Kathleen Scacciaferro MSN, CHTI as my mentor and instructor, as well as our student group from the University of Vermont, from which I learned so much.
