Psychiatric Nurse for 35 years, became certified in Healing Touch in 2001. Present working as a contractor for an IOP. I work from home and do distance healing as well as hands on. 

I am a Registered Nurse working in assisted living and hospice across several different states. I enjoy teaching classes and learning as much as I can about the metaphysical and holisitic health. I am currently taking on students as mentees in Healing Touch. Please reach out with any questions. 

Janet's healing practice is grounded in Western medicine. She has worked as an occupational therapist in a variety of rehabilitation settings, often incorporating Healing Touch into OT sessions. She has had a private healing practice since 1998. In addition to being a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, she is a Certified Aromatherapist and an instructor in the 'M' Technique for the Hand. I have been providing HT as an HT student since 2015, primarily at the Free First Saturday Clinic I established at the Manchester VAMC along with other alternative providers.  As this clinic was unavailable to Veterans, community members and other stakeholders during the pandemic, I recently obtained my certification (CHTP) to continue doing the work both in person and through distance healing in my private practice.  My experience is with adults, especially those impacted by PTSD, SUD and MST.  In 2016, I was certified as an RxRelax yoga teacher, volunteering to bring the experience of seated yoga practice to persons with cancer at various NH clinics and Manchester VAMC nursing home residents.

I was fortunate to have Kathleen Scacciaferro MSN, CHTI as my mentor and instructor, as well as our student group from the University of Vermont, from which I learned so much.
