In 2011, Jeanne retired from a rewarding nursing career after 39 years of service.

She specialized in critical care nursing including holding a flight nurse position for several years.

She held several other positions as nursing supervisor following the study of “Introduction to

Nursing Management” (one-year online course).

Jeanne was introduced to Healing Touch in 2002, and by 2003 she knew she wanted this

modality approved in her work place area. With perseverance and dedication, she received

permission by the Oncology Director to offer HT to oncology patients and their caregivers. She

and another colleague oversaw this clinic for a period of 8 months. Healing Touch is now part of

the care and support a patient care receive if nurses have studied Healing Touch.

She is fluently bilingual and continues to teach Healing Touch in both English and French and

has travelled to many area of Canada to teach the upper levels of this curriculum.

Jeanne supports many communities in the Atlantic provinces as both mentor to students and

CHTI’s.

Kerri Husman is an Integrative Psychiatrist at her separate medical practice.

At Mammoth Hills, she offers support as an Intuitive Performance Coach, Shamanic Practitioner and Instructor, and certified Healing Touch practitioner who brings a grounded, holistic approach to healing and transformation. Her work integrates her years of experience and insight with energy-based practices to support balance across emotional, physical, and energetic systems. 

Coaching with energy psychology methods may include self administered healing touch techniques, from HTA and from HBB.

Healing touch works with the energy field, while shamanic healing works with the soul and spiritual power. These sessions are entirely separate, but healing touch is vital to clean house for the soul to be most present and whole. 

Through Healing Touch, Kerri helps clients release stress, restore energetic flow, and reconnect with their body’s natural capacity for healing. She offers a calm, supportive space for those experiencing overwhelm, life transitions, or deeper processes of personal and spiritual growth.
