Judy has been a working registered nurse for over 40 years. She holds a baccalaureate degree in nursing and a public health nurse certificate. Judy's area of expertise in nursing is in the field of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She has worked as a clinical instructor in a BSN nursing program at a Los Angeles university since 2010. She has studied Healing Touch since 2008 and became a certified practitioner with a private practice in 2018.

Judy is also a student of Usui Shiki Ryobo Reiki, she completed 3rd degree, Reiki Master in 2024. 

Judy has completed the Healing Beyond Borders Professional Development program "A Guide to Mentorship" and is open to mentoring Healing Touch Practitioner

I have been a nurse for 30+ years with a wide range of experiences in the hospital setting and in the community.  I began my Healing Touch journey while I was taking care of cancer and Hospice patients in their home.  It was a remarkable experience and I feel that it was a turning point in my nursing career.

I have experienced how energy therapy can be very effective either on its own for stress management and when it complements medical care.  It is non-invasive, gentle and encourages a relaxation response that enhances one's own innate healing process. 

In addition to Healing Touch, I am also a certified yoga and meditation instructor.  I encourage students and clients to take charge of their wellness and vitality through lifestyle: healthy nutrition, mindfulness, meditation, body movement while also maintaining spiritual and emotional health.

I have been a hospital nurse for 25+ years, with a wide range of experience; from cardiac nurse to RN Case Manager. I was introduced to Healing Touch in June of 2022 by my dear friend and mentor, Margot Baker. This was a turning point for me in my on-going journey of becoming more open-hearted, present, connected and intuitive. I believe that we are all capable of healing ourselves, and creating a life we love.

It has been my great honor and pleasure these past two years to provide Healing Touch sessions to cancer patients in my community through "Healing Partners of the Central Coast". I have experienced the effectivness of energy therapy and heart centered touch (as a complement to medical care) in reducing pain, anxiety, and the side effects of chemo or radiation treatments. 

In my private practice (both in-person and remote), I emphasize that Healing Touch works with your energy field to support your own natural ability to heal. I want my clients to feel heard, cared for, and empowered to heal themselves in body, mind, and spirit.
