I have been an RN since 1983, and APRN since 1987. Currently I am Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist. (FNP-BC, CNS-BC & CHTP) I work at the VA Saginaw MI. Having studied Nursing and lived in California for many years, in 2015 I relocated back to my state of origin, Michigan. I completed my CHTP having started with my first class in 2003 at the Naval Medical Center San Diego CA. I took a course via VA West Los Angeles CA, then completed my HT work with my mentor Liz Fraser from Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine (SCIM) San Diego CA. I now live on a Farm in rural Michigan, and would like to become established with a HT network in Michigan. I am an Advocate for Veterans access to Integrative services and HT.
Marci Carisch has been a certified Healing Touch Practitioner since 2004. She has provided Healing Touch at Abbot Northwestern Hospital (the back unit and cancer unit), Children’s Hospital Hospice program and Pathways (a center for chronic and terminally ill persons and their caregivers). She currently provides Healing Touch in her private practice in Hopkins, Minnesota.
She first got involved in Healing touch in 1997 when her daughter at 14 months old was diagnosed with a brain tumor. A HT practitioner did healing touch for her daughter that significantly reduced her daughter’s side effects and pain due to chemotherapy, radiation and brain surgery. During this time Marci also received HT to reduce anxiety. She became a firm believer in the healing benefits of energy work when through receiving HT she experienced a profound spiritual awakening to her truth, purpose and joy. Her passion is to bring the healing benefits of Healing Touch to other families suffering with a chronically ill or terminally ill child and anyone hoping to reach their optimum level of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

David stumbled upon alternative medicine when he had medical issues that couldn’t be solved with western medical approaches alone. “I was humbled, what I learned in college about the body/mind connection was incomplete.” This realization marked the beginning of a new chapter for David and he started a journey to understand the underpinnings of complementary healing modalities.
He began to study with spiritual healing teachers who taught him esoteric healing practices that were used by Shaman, and Taoist Priests. He also studied with Nurses who practice the art of Healing Touch.
David is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner (CHTP) who combines psychology, spirituality, and hands on healing for those seeking an alternative and/or complement to western medical approaches. He has worked with doctors (HIPAA compliant) and can help decrease healing time up to 30% or more by using a combination of biofield clearing/cleaning/restoring techniques

I am an intuitive, compassionate, skilled, trauma-informed, caring, holistic nurse practitioner-healer-coach. I believe that each person has his/her/their own best wisdom, answers, and personal healing strengths, but may be challenged at times in accessing and/or trusting these personal attributes. I also embrace the tenets of Attitudinal Healing, (such as: "the essence of our being is love" and "inner peace is letting go of fear"); and Mindfulness Compassion for self and others. I believe in the importance of a caring human connection, and in holding a safe and sacred space for personal exploration and inner healing. I am proudly a certified advanced holistic nurse who embraces an integrative transpersonal trauma-informed nurse-healer-coaching practice. I love integrating a variety of healing tools/practices, such as Healing Touch, Reiki, Interactive Guided Imagery, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Positive Neuroplasticity, HeartMath, integrative somatic trauma therapy approches; and Family Systems Constellation Facilitation, etc, to help promote inner healing and well-being. In addition, it has been through my most difficult personal life challenges and life-threatening physical experiences, that I have gained my greatest insights and most profound personal and spiritual growth, which has benefited me by amplifying my empathic, resonant, and transpersonal connection with others. I now have a therapy office in Arcata, CA where I can do hands on HT, as well as remote or distant HT. I have included a photo.
RN, Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, Certified Massage Practitioner (CA #59480). I was part of the Scripps Hospital Encinitas Healing Touch Team from 2011 to 2016. I am currently attending classes at Mira Costa College to extend my skills in complementary therapies.
