Jeanne was introduced to Healing Touch in 2002 while caring for her terminally ill brother and she was able to share the gift of this beautiful work with him.  It was his optimism, acceptance, and spiritual healing that opened her mind and heart to the power of this nurturing, energy therapy.  Healing Touch has become an important part of her self-care, and she found that it freed obstacles and expanded boundaries to her own health and healing. 

Jeanne is a practicing Certified Holistic R.N. and Certified Healnig Touch Practitioner and Instructor.  She is a member of the Integrative Medicine Department at Mercy Hospital St. Louis providing Healing Touch for in-patients. 

Jeanne has served as past treasurer and President of the BOD of Healing Touch St. Louis and treasurer and BOD of Healing Beyond Borders.  She is an active member of Healing Beyond Borders, American Holistic Nuirses' Association, and Healing Touch St. Louis. 

Karen has been a certified healing touch practitioner since 2011. She has a passion for educating people on the beneifits of healing touch in the promotion of self care.

  A native of Denmark, I have lived permanently in the US since 1988 and practiced for nearly four decades as a nurse in various settings, including medical/surgical, infectious disease (HIV/AIDS), oncology and home care and hospice in rural and urban areas. I now teach languages and substitute and tutor in the public school systems

  My focus has always been on the whole person, the physical, emotional, soul and spirit. Adding healing touch was a natural progression and personal growth experience for me. My background as a nurse helps guide me as I follow the energy in healing touch sessions and the inclusion of healing touch in my daily practice as a nurse has enriched my work life and given me new tools to bring about healing and harmony in patients and clients.  

 As a healing touch practitioner, I volunteered at a health crisis center, Pathways in Minneapolis until its closure after Covid and now see clients at my home in St Paul's Highland Park neighborhood.

Gayle Nelson B.A. Ed., MSW, RCSWI, CHTP is an educator, registered clinical social work intern and Certified Healing Touch Practitioner. Gayle specializes in supporting others in their own self-healing journey. She draws on her clinical training and psycho-spiritual/energy-based modalities to facilitate mental, physical, emotional and spiritual integration. Gayle conducts workshops introducing Healing Touch and demonstrating the use of mandala, archetypes, guided imagery and energy-based techniques as tools for personal healing and wholeness. Her Healing Touch practice is in Wilton Manors, FL.
