Kathy worked in a in-patient psychiatric hospital for ten years and then worked for the past 15 years in the community as Mental Health working, specializing in Early Intervention for Psychosis. The social work counseling sessions involved Cognitive Behavioral Therapy , Narrative and Brief-Solution Focused Therapy. There has been a constant drive to learn more about the mind/body connection.
In addition to healing touch treatments Kathy shares her knowledge of reflexology and cranial sacral. Most recently Kathy has learned about how sound affects the body and has now incorporated sound therapy into her treatments.
In general, Kathy loves hearing about how the body is responding to its experiences and how, with support and coaching, the body can find its own way to feel better. Listening to the stories, and how a person has lives their dreams has been a fascination, and the most recent addition to her interests the indigenous history and the learning the ways of nature as additional healing methods
Sessions are offered in person (when able to do so), by telephone, or by zoom.
This is a student practice group; not yet open to the public. Generally meets once monthly for approx 2 hrs.; all student levels welcome. Please contact Margaret Harle for current information.

Why Choose Healing Touch with Lucrezia Mangione?
As a founding member of Healing Beyond Borders and a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and Instructor, I bring over 20 years of experience in energy-based practices. I’ve co-created and implemented Healing Touch programs at major healthcare systems, including Sibley Hospital, in Washington, DC and Inova Health Systems, in Northern Virginia where I trained over 10% of their nursing workforce between 2012 and 2019. Inova's program supported nurses (and a few+ MDs, therapists, and chaplains), helped reduce compassion fatigue, improve staff well-being, and enhance a nurse's options in support of their excellent patient care.
My teaching approach is designed to meet you where you are. Whether you’re a healthcare professional looking to integrate holistic practices into patient or client care or an individual eager to expand your self-care toolkit, you'll be empowered with practical skills, clear guidance, and a compassionate, experiential approach to learning.

- Healthcare professionals seeking to integrate holistic practices to support stress and anxiety reduction in their workplace.
- Therapists, counselors, energy healers, massage therapists and energy-curious persons ready to expand their healing skill set.
