I experienced my first energetic healing session in 2008. While struggling with a medical issue, a friend suggested Healing Touch, and I was hooked! Wanting to spread the beauty of Healing Touch, I retired from a career in Accounting and opened my Healing Touch practice - Peace Within Healing Touch, L3C. I was Certified as a Healing Touch Practitioner and then Instructor. Additionally, I am a Reiki Master/Instructor and have studied Sacred Geometry.

In addition to teaching Foundations of Healing Touch: Course 1, I work privately with clients - both in person and remotely. I mentor Certification students and offer practice sessions for new students. I am a member of Healing Beyond Borders (serving on the Marketing/Membership Committee and as a member of the Biofield Research Interest Group), the Healing Touch Center in Farmington Hills, MI (serving as a volunteer practitioner and the Board Treasurer), and the American Holistic Nurses Association.

I have presented Healing Touch information sessions to a variety of groups, which always includes a mini chair session so that all in attendance can experience, firsthand, the beauty of Healing Touch. Having received a BFA from Univ Tx, Austin, I practiced graphic design for 10 yr. While living in Hawaii, I was drawn strongly to the healing arts, studied Healing Touch and, in 1998 while living in Maui, earned my Certification as a Healing Touch Practitioner. I have had the privilege of studying advanced healing touch therapies with the Healing Touch Founder, Janet Mentgen. During my 25 years in Hawaii, I created the HT program at Maui Memorial Hosp and helped establish the Kaiser Permanente HT Clinic (still operating in 2016). Next I moved to CA (2011), and while working at the Stanford Univ Med Center HT program, Oncology dept.  earned my MA in clinincal/medical hypnotherapy and was certified in EFT (tapping on  the meridians to release traumas).  In 2013 I returned home to TX, and reestablished my practice in the Katy & Houston area. By combining these 3 modalities, I treat the bio-energetic field, physical body and the conscious & sub- conscious mind to bring balance, harmony, peace and wholeness.
