I began my journey into energy therapy in 2006 and completed my certification as a Healing Touch Practitioner in 2015. I have a private practice as well as offer my services as a mentor, coordinator & community advocate for Healing Touch energy therapy.

As a doctor of Mind-Body Medicine, I specialize in the relationship between emotions, the mind, and physical health. I am an Integrative Mental Health Specialist serving as a bridge between traditional allopathic (Western) medicine and other World Medicines (Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine).  I utilize a holistic, psychodynamic, root-cause perspective focusing on the integration of mind, body, brain, and spirit to help develop personalized treatment plans with my clients. My ideal clients struggle with emotional symptoms and chronic physical conditions and want to empower themselves to feel better every day.

My treatment model includes integrative mind-body psychotherapy, Healing Touch, biofeedback, and auricular acupuncture. Mind-Body strategies help to reduce stress. Breath work, movement, guided imagery, dietary and lifestyle changes are all effective techniques to help you manage or overcome your negative self-talk, brain fog, chronic pain, depression, or anxiety. 

Hello, my name is Carolyn Melton. I am a Certified Practitioner of Healing Touch and of the Art of Raising Frequency in Gulfport, MS. I have worked as a location manager in school transportation for over 31 years. I live with my wonderful husband, to whom I have been married for 23 years. I have three children and five grandchildren whom I adore, and will soon be a great-grandmother.

My journey to becoming a practitioner began soon after a health scare that resulted in my needing of several heart surgeries. I started working with a Reiki healer in 2011. I was introduced to the Healing Grannies at the Nourishing Place in 2013, who introduced me to Healing Touch. I took required classes under the leadership of Mary Frost, RN, CHTP/I, to become certified in Healing Touch. I met Barbara Evans, creator of the Art of Raising Frequency, at a Healing Touch conference in 2019 and was inspired by her work. I took required classes under her leadership to become certified in the Art of Raising Frequency. I take continuing education courses in both systems and have integrated using Alchemy crystal singing bowls in my practice. I see the positive impact these healing services have had on my health and life and feel called to share these blessings with others. I offer in-person and remote sessions.
