Kathy has been a certified Healing Touch Practitioner since 2016. She specializes in working with people experiencing grief, loss, chronic/acute injuries, trauma, and/or desiring an overall balance in life. In addition to her Energy work, she has been training clients in the Fitness field for the last 30 years. Kathy is a mother, wife, teacher, healer, lover of animals, plants, music and movement. She believes healing is part of living, transforming and expanding. Kathy offers Healing Touch sessions in her home and considers it is an honor to partner with her clients in their journey of self healing.

As a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, my goal is to to facilitate your self-healing process through this gentle, subtle, yet profound energy therapy.

I’m constantly delighted by the shifts that can take place during or after an energy healing session. I love it when a client tells me “I slept through the night,” or “My headache is gone!” or, “I’ve had an insight into my situation, I can deal with this.” That’s why I do this work.

I offer a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to help you get grounded, find balance, and feel renewed. My practice is based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Sandy has worked in the non-profit arena for many years, holds a BFA and MBA, and has extensive management and organizational experience. She is Executive Director of LifeSpark Cancer Resources, a Lakewood-based non-profit organization that provides comfort and support to individuals with cancer through the use of Reiki and Healing Touch. Sandy regularly teaches, speaks, and writes about wellness and self-healing.

In 2000, due to a health crisis I began to explore the path to healing.  Certified in Healing Touch, Energetic NLP, a Reiki Master/Teacher, Tai Chi/Qigong Instructor and Meditation Leader.  I learned skills and techniques to enable my own healing as well as how to assist others in their healing.  Through my position at the University of Arizona (1996-2016), I was able to share my love of healing and started a Healing Touch clinic on campus for students and faculty. I also developed and managed a two-year research project on the effects of Healing Touch on Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans with post traumatic stress (PTS).   I taught Tai Chi/Qigong for the University of Arizona Employee Wellness Program and at the Tucson Veterans' Center. Currently, I have a private practice and teach healing methods.
